Our Los Abuelos Fortaleza Distillery Tour takes you behind the scenes at the legendary La Fortaleza distillery, includes tastings of small-batch tequila, a stroll through the historic Pueblo Mágico, and ends with a chance to grab a cantarito at a local favorite spot.

What Will You Experience?

• Private Pick-Up: We’ll pick you up directly from your hotel or Airbnb in Guadalajara. This is a private tour, so you’ll have your own vehicle and bilingual guide with you all day.
• La Fortaleza Distillery Tour: Tour one of the last traditional, family-owned tequila distilleries in the region. You’ll see the original tahona in use and enjoy guided tastings of their signature spirits.
• Free Time in Tequila: After your distillery visit, take time to explore the town—walk the plaza, grab a bite to eat, or check out the shops and museums.
• Optional Cantarito Stop: Want to end the day with something refreshing? Your guide can take you to Cantaritos El Güero for a classic cocktail before heading back. (Drink not included.)
• Return to Guadalajara: After a packed day of tastings and exploration, we’ll head back to the city. Sit back and enjoy the views on your way home.

• This tour runs Monday through Saturday.
• Start time is flexible, but subject to Fortaleza’s schedule.
• Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen, a hat, and your camera.
• Fortaleza spots are limited—book early to lock in your date.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up for a partial refund.
Because of Fortaleza’s limited spots, rescheduling isn’t available once booked.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.
