Tequila Train Tour – Sunday Tequila Express with Private Transportation & Distillery Visit

If you’ve ever dreamed of arriving in the Pueblo Mágico of Tequila by train, the Sunday Tequila Train Tour is the perfect way to experience it. Your day starts in Guadalajara, where your private driver picks you up from your hotel or Airbnb and takes you directly to the Sunday Tequila Express departure. From there, settle in for a ~2-hour ride through sweeping blue agave fields on your way to the birthplace of tequila.

When you arrive in Tequila, your driver meets you at the station and takes you to one of the region’s top distillery areas—El Tequileño, Sauza, José Cuervo, La Cofradía, Orendain, or La Rienda—where you’ll have time to explore, take photos, shop for bottles, or relax before enjoying a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Food is included; drinks are not, so you can order whatever you prefer. Afterward, you’ll head to the iconic Cantaritos El Güero for one of the most famous stops in Jalisco before returning to Guadalajara with your private driver. This Sunday getaway blends the charm of the Tequila Express with comfort, culture, and great food.
