En esta experiencia de día completo, viajarás en un clásico tren tequilero, disfrutarás cocteles a bordo, recorrerás los campos de agave y degustarás un almuerzo tradicional en Casa Sauza, una de las casas tequileras más antiguas de México. Con mariachi en vivo, presentaciones culturales y tiempo libre para explorar, esto es mucho más que un tour Sauza: es una celebración de todo lo que hace tan especial a Tequila, Jalisco.

Lo mejor de todo: nosotros nos encargamos de la logística. Incluimos un traslado privado redondo con guía bilingüe. Esto significa que te recogemos directamente en tu hotel o Airbnb en Guadalajara o Zapopan, te acompañamos durante el registro y te llevamos de vuelta al finalizar la experiencia. Option A — Return by Train (No Cantaritos)

  • Enjoy the evening train back to Guadalajara.
  • Private driver picks you up at the station and takes you back to your hotel or Airbnb.
  • No stop at Cantaritos El Güero with this option.

Option B — Private Tequila Pickup + Cantaritos

  • Picked up in Tequila after your Sauza experience.
  • Stop at Cantaritos De El Güero for a famous clay-cup cocktail.
  • Afterward, returned back to Tequila to finish your day.

Good to know: If Cantaritos is on your list, choose Option B. The cantina stop is not available with train-return (Option A).

Can I stop at Cantaritos if I return by train?

No. The cantina stop is only part of Option B (private Tequila pickup). Option A is train-only.

What happens when the train returns?

Our driver will meet you at the Guadalajara station and bring you back to your hotel.

¿Cuánto dura el viaje?

Around 12 hours total, with a ~2-hour train segment.

Son los alimentos y bebidas incluidas?

Yes. Coffee, lunch, cocktails on the train, and soft drinks are included. Drinks at Cantaritos are not.

Can I customize the experience?

  • 9:30 AM – Transfer to Train Station

    Board a shuttle to the station on Avenida Washington to begin the rail journey.

  • 10:30 AM – Train Departs for Tequila

    Booked the Tequila Express through TQM for a group of 10, pretty last minute. Everything went super smooth. Jaime helped us get it all locked in fast, which we really appreciated.

    The train was fun—live mariachi, great scenery, and plenty of tequila. The Sauza tour was cool and lunch was better than expected. We also stopped at Cantaritos El Güero and Los Gallos on the way back, which was a great call.

    Overall, solid experience. Would definitely book with TQM again.

    We were a group of 7 from Sacramento looking to ride the José Cuervo train, but it was sold out by the time we were ready to book. We decided to go with this Tequila Express tour instead, mainly just to have the train experience — and honestly, it far exceeded my expectations.

    They picked us up directly from our hotel in a private Sprinter — clean, spacious, and super appreciated since it was 104°F in May. The A/C alone was worth it. We didn’t want to deal with splitting into Ubers or figuring out taxis, so having that reliable shuttle made a big difference.

    The train ride itself was awesome. Great views, solid food (better than expected honestly), and drinks flowing as promised. The atmosphere was fun but still organized, and we never felt rushed. After the tour, we asked to go to Cantaritos El Güero because we’d seen it all over TikTok — and the driver made it happen. It was the perfect way to end the day.

    The tour was super fun, loved the train, the tequila, and the atmosphere at the hacienda. The staff made everything easy and the mariachi was such a cool touch. Only thing is I wish we had a little extra time to walk around Tequila town. Other than that, it was a great day and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Guadalajara.

    We booked the Sauza train because the Jose Cuervo tour was sold out, and honestly it turned out to be a great experience. The train ride was smooth, the distillery was really interesting, and lunch at Quinta Sauza was included, which made things easy for our group.

    TQM also arranged a stop at Cantaritos El Güero on the way back, which was such a fun way to wrap up the day. Everything felt well put together, the guide kept it light and fun, and we never felt rushed. I’d book this again without hesitation.
